LitCon 2019

LitCon is a celebration of all things pop culture and bookish, a library mini-con for all ages! This is a day-long event filled with fun activities, special guests, costume contests, and a vendor lounge. Events take place in the library and adjacent Community Center.

LitCon is Saturday, October 12, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm!

Nalo Hopkinson

This year, our special guest is Nalo Hopkinson, fiction writer and co-author of the House of Whispers comics in the Sandman Universe. Nalo has received and been nominated for many awards for her fantasy/sci-fi writing, much of which explores themes of race, gender, class, and sexual identity. Her latest project is House of Whispers, a series of comics that take place in Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman universe.

Check back later in September for the full LitCon schedule! Email litcon@cedarfallslibrary.org with any questions.

LitCon is sponsored by the Cedar Falls Community Foundation Kathryn L. Ray Fund for use by the Cedar Falls Public Library.
