Did you know the textile industry generates over 92 million tons of waste yearly?  Save the planet one stitch at a time and mend or embellish the clothes you already have!


Bring in an item of clothing or two and the library will provide the rest - needles, thread, cloth, etc!  Mending books will be on hand to reference, but the Teen Librarian can also help instruct on a few simple stitches!

Open to teens ages 12-18 and in grades 7-12.  No registration required - teens are free to come and go as they please during the program.
