How do you find your voice?  Listen to how a variety of people in the Cedar Valley found their voice through their hobbies and work.  Presenters might be a radio DJ, hula hooper, tattoo artist, and more!  Come and explore their passions with us and maybe find your new way to express your voice!  

Hey you have a cool voice, you should do radio! Have you heard that? That's where it all can start, but what do you do when the microphone goes on and you have to be entertaining for 30 to 60 seconds for thousands of people and you have ONE CHANCE to get it right? Maybe introduce your favorite artist onstage in-front of thousands of people and ALL the eyes are on you? Welcome to the world of being an on air radio DJ!

Join Ned, Afternoon DJ of Rock 108, will demonstrate getting prepped for a show, getting rid of that 'stereotypical radio voice,' hitting the post RIGHT when singing starts in a song, think you can do it? You can try! Also what it takes to get into the industry of radio and how it can REALLY diversify your ability to be more than just a voice on the radio.  It ain't just about potting up the mic these days!
Open to all teens 12-18 years old and in 7-12 grade.  No registration required.
