By popular demand, we are holding an encore session of this program!  Sumi-e, or ink wash painting, is a simple and elegant artform which uses minimalistic, simple strokes to create subtle, monochromatic artwork.  Our instructor, Maoko Umeda, will instruct us on the practice and history of the art and you will have an opportunity to try sumi-e using a brush and black ink.  All materials will be provided and all of your creations will be yours to keep.

Registration is required.  Ink can stain clothing, so please dress accordingly.  This program is intended for adults and will be held in the Co-lab.
