Learn about the work of visual artist, animator, and Professor of Art at Middle Tennessee State University, Erin Anfinson, who will be joining us virtually. Erin has been an Artist-In-Residence with the National Park Service and the UNI Tallgrass Prairie Center. Erin will also be teaching participants how to create their own pigments from soil. All tools and materials will be provided, along with soil collected from local sites, however, participants are welcome to bring their own cup of dry soil to use. As the program ends upon one year of seasonal change, all participants will be invited to show their work at the Hearst and Cedar Falls Library.

*In the case of cancelation due to inclement weather, this workshop will be held at the same time on February 17th at the Hearst Center.

As the program ends upon one year of seasonal change, all participants will be invited to show their work at the Hearst and Cedar Falls Library. Made possible by the Cedar Falls Community Foundation: Kathryn Ray Fund for use by the Library
