Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens

NOTE: This program will be held at the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens.  NO transportation will be provided to or from the library.

Our September book club title is Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants (both Adult and Young Adult versions of the book) by Robin Wall Kimmerer (or whatever you're reading!). This event will be hosted by Megan Blackford of the Cedar Falls Public Library - they will have books for checkout if anyone needs one. Stop by for brief conversation on the patio, followed by silent reading in the Arboretum until 7:30 PM. Arboretum maps will be available. Bring your own chair or blanket. There is no admission charge!
