TECHNOLOGY

- Chromebooks- Check out this laptop to use for school, work or just for fun! This HP Chromebook is intended for internet use only. Any files saved to this computer will be deleted upon logging out or turning off the computer.

- DVD Player- Easily hook this DVD player up to your tv and start watching movies! Includes a remote control, an HDMI cord, and an RCA cord. This is not a portable DVD player and must be hooked up to a tv in order to work. This does not play Blu-ray discs.

- Disc Golf Discs- Set of 3 flexible plastic discs for playing disc golf. Includes a Fairway Driver, Mid-Range, and Putter. Recommended for ages 7 and up.
- Giant Jenga- Giant version of the popular stacking game. The tower starts off at 2 feet and can grow to over 4 feet high during the game! Includes a set of 54, 6-inch blocks, instructions, and a carrying case. Recommended for 1 or more players, ages 5 and up.
- Horseshoes- This game of horseshoes can be played outdoors or indoors. Includes a set of 6 lightweight, plastic horseshoes, 2 plastic stakes for outdoor use, 2 rubber mats for indoor play, and instructions. Recommended for 2-4 players, ages 3 and up.
- Ladder Golf- Fun, outdoor game to see who can wrap their bolas around the rungs of the ladder! This game comes with all of the pieces to assemble 2 plastic ladders, as well as 6 bolas, and instructions. Recommended for 2-4 players, ages 14 and up.
- Lawn Bowling- Small, wooden backyard bowling game. Set includes 10, 8-inch wooden pins, 2 small wooden balls, and instructions. Recommended for 2-4 players, ages 5 and up.
- Lawn Darts- Compete to see who can get their darts closest to the center of the ring. Comes with 4 weighted, rubber lawn darts, 2 rings, and instructions. Everything glows in the dark for more fun! Recommended for 2-4 players, ages 6 and up.

Bike Tool Set- Easily and safely tighten bolts. Comes with a mini ratchet, a magnetic tool bit extender, and 10 tool bits: 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, T25, T30, PH1, SL4.
Binoculars- Includes one set of binoculars with a neck strap, stored in a carrying case. Great for adults and children!
Button Maker- Heavy-duty, easy to use button maker that creates pinback buttons. Available in 2.25" or 3" sizes. Also comes with circle paper punch. For use with 20-24# paper only. Cannot be used with photographs. Button supplies will need to be purchased at the service desk at time of checkout. Supplies are 10¢ per button and must be purchased in packs of 25.
Canning Kit- Includes a 21-quart canning pot with a lid, 7-jar rack, 9 inch colander, funnel, tongs, lid wrench, magnetic lid lifter, bubble remover/ruler. For stovetop canning- this is a boiling water bath canner and is not a pressure canner.
Community Journals- Check out one of our themed journal notebooks! Read entries written by other CFPL members and add your own handwritten entry if you wish. Voila! An interactive, analog social experience. Themes include: Holiday Memories, Pet Stories, Favorite Book Reviews, Favorite Movie Reviews, What I Learned in Quarantine, Fan Fiction, Original Poetry, School Memories, Funny Stories from My Childhood, Why I Love the Library.

YOUTH STEM KITS
Solar System- In this STEM kit, children will be able to explore our solar system though different curriculum areas: math, language, science, social studies, arts and crafts.The kit includes a Solar System Activity Tub and the books: Professor Astro Cat’s Solar System by Dr. Dominic Walliman & Ben Newman and Solar System for Kids by Hilary Statum. For ages 6-8 years and grades 1-3.
Nature Hike Backpack- Children will be ready to get out in nature with this Nature Hike Backpack. This STEM kit comes with binoculars and magnifying glasses to get a closer look at the world around them. It also comes with bird and bug guides to identify the creatures they see on their hike. Lastly there is a compass and a Cedar Valley Soft Trails map to help guide them. This STEM kit is for kids of all ages.
Space Lander Activity Lab-In this STEM kit, kids will engage in the scientific process and work on their engineering skills. The kit includes a Space Lander Activity Lab, in which they will learn about Newton’s laws of motion, learn how a parachute works and then build a space lander. There is a copy of the book Physics: Why Matter Matters by Dan Green.
Code & Go Robot Mouse Game-This STEM kit encourages early computer coding skills. It includes a Code & Go Robot Mouse, in which children can design a maze and they program the mouse to go through it. The kit also includes Code & Go Mouse Mania Board Game. The game is for 2-4 players. Players use coding cards to sequence their way through the board to cheese wedges. There is an additional Code & Go Robot Mouse and a copy of the book How to Code a Sandcastle by Josh Funk and Illustrated by Sarah Palacios. This STEM kit is geared towards ages 4-9 and grades PreK-4th grade.

Folk Tale Problem Solving: Paul Bunyan-In this STEM kit, children will develop engineering skills while learning about the folk tale of Paul Bunyan. The kit includes a Paul Bunyam Problem Solving Kit, in which the child will design a wagon to carry Bunyan’s heavy knapsack. This kit also includes a copy of the book Simple Machines by D.J. Ward. For ages 7-8 and grades 2-3.
Folk Tale Problem Solving: John Henry-In this STEM kit, children will develop engineering skills while learning about the folk tale of John Henry. This kit includes a John Henry Problem Solving Kit, in which children will use engineering skills to build and test a conveyor belt that really hauls rocks. Also included is a copy of the book How Machines Work by David Macaulay. This kit is geared towards ages 7-8 and grades 2-3.
Snap Circuits-In this STEM kit, children will learn about electronic circuits. In this kit is a Snap Circuits set, in which your child can make one of the 500 projects listed in the kit. Easy to snap together and take apart, they can make many different projects. Also included in this kit is a copy of Physical Science: Electricity and Magnetism by Cody Crane. For ages 8-108, grades 3+.
YOUTH HISTORICAL DOLL KITS
A $5 per day late fee will be applied if a doll kit is returned late. Historical Doll Kits are excluded from CFPL's Fine-Free initiative. Only one doll can be checked out per card.
Felicity- In this Historical Doll Kit, children will learn about the history of the American Revolution and read about the fictional character Felicity, a young girl living in Williamsburg, Virginia, during the late 1700s. The purpose of the kit is to encourage children to engage with history through dramatic play.
