DESCRIPTION:Melinda Heinz\, a Professor of Family Services at UNI\, will host a Death Café in the Cedar Falls Public Library meeting room on Monday\, September 28th from 7-8:30pm.   Community members are invited to have guided discussions with folks who may have similar anxieties and experiences about death.    Cafés have no pre-set agenda. They are a place to encourage open discussion on perspectives on death. Death cafes are not support groups or therapy sessions\, but instead places that promote open discussion to decrease the likelihood that discussions on death are considered taboo.  Registration is not necessary. Attendance is free. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
