Learn more about Nature Quest and create your own journal to use throughout the year.CFPL Co-LabAdults 18+Registration required  \nLearn about plant pigments with Natural Dye Artist\, Lilah Ward! From start to finish you will learn how to create natural watercolors from plants. We will create a dye bath from plant matter\, learn the process of extracting pigment from the plant dye bath\, and how to process the plant dye lake pigment and create watercolor binder. Participants will get to practice mulling plant pigment & watercolor binder together. Materials will be provided. As the program ends upon one year of seasonal change\, all participants will be invited to show their work at the Hearst and Cedar Falls Library. Made possible by the Cedar Falls Community Foundation: Kathryn Ray Fund for use by the Library.  \n*In the case of cancelation due to inclement weather\, this workshop will be held at the same time on March 17th at the Hearst Center.
