SUMMARY:Intermediate Book Folding - Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Folded books (i.e. book sculptures) are created through the artistic folding of book pages to make visible images or patterns on the fore edge of a book --  old and unwanted books are repurposed into fresh pieces of art! \nThis intermediate class will focus on more advanced methods of book folding including cut-and-fold and combi patterns.  All materials will be provided and each participant will be able to take their creation (or work-in-progress) home.  While all skill levels are welcome (and  we will have some basic patterns available for beginners)\, basic knowledge of book folding is preferred.  This program is intended for adults and registration is required.   \nPlease note:  There are 2 identical sessions of this intermediate program (#1 on Sat. 8/15 at 2PM and #2 on Tues. 8/18 at 6PM).  You do NOT need to attend both sessions! \nSponsored by the Friends of the Cedar Falls Public Library.
