The Home Place Book Discussion - with Green Iowa Americorps

Join us in a collaborative program between Cedar Falls Public Library and Green Iowa Americorps for a Walk & Talk discussion of Drew Lanham’s ‘The Home Place; Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature’ on June 30 at 1pm.  Discussion will take place at the Daryl Smith Prairie in Cedar Falls (802 W. 29th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613), and topics will include personal experiences with nature and how they may differ between communities, environmental justice, and more!  Please meet at the Daryl Smith Prairie.


Free native seed packets will be provided to everyone in attendance, and copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Cedar Falls Public Library Reference Desk starting on July 1st.
