Join in becoming more financially literate with the help of the Iowa State University Extension office!  The Teen Financial Literacy program series has six meetings in it, and attendees are expected to be able to attend most of them.

This is a program that utilizes the My Financial Future curriculum to teachyouth about organizing finances to learn about savings, riskmanagement, and consumer breadcrumbs. It is about helping middleschool and high school youth develop critical skills and knowledge inmoney management.Youth will learn about financial literacy concepts through case studies andreal-life scenarios. Additional concepts covered include career planning,setting up SMART goals, managing financial records, creating spendingand savings plans, choosing payment methods, and managing credit.   

Open to teens ages 12-18 and in grades 7-12.  Registration encouraged.
