September 17, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner (29th of September for this year). It's an important traditional festival celebrated in China, Japan, Korea and other countries in east and southeast Asia. Come and learn with Chef Jie as she demonstrates how to make snow skin mooncake as well as tells you about some traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Participants will get to make their own mooncakes! This is a family friendly event (ages 6 and up). However, children younger than 12 must have an adult registering with them. This is the second session in our Culture Kitchen series. Follow the Cedar Falls Public Library on social media to learn about future sessions. Sponsored by Friends of the Cedar Falls Public Library.
